Befitting the shoe’s unique moniker, the original December 2017 launch of the Yeezy 500 ‘Super Moon Yellow’ was wholly unconventional: shoppers were able to get their hands on the kicks only if they purchased a bundled option that also included a hoodie and sweat shorts. A subsequent standalone release followed months later.
