The 19NINE 2004 UConn Huskies Double Championship Vintage Tee celebrates the iconic Connecticut Huskies basketball programs accomplishment of winning both the Men’s and Woman’s NCAA Championship. The school did it again in 2024 and now have a chance to do it again a third time in the 2026 NCAA Final Four in Indianapolis.

In 2004, the University of Connecticut made history as the first school to win both NCAA Division I men’s and women’s basketball championships in the same year. The men, coached by Jim Calhoun, beat Georgia Tech 82–73 on April 5 in San Antonio, while the women, coached by Geno Auriemma, defeated Tennessee 70–61 on April 6 in New Orleans to win their third straight title. Emeka Okafor and Ben Gordon were standouts for the men while Diana Taurasi capped her historic college career with three ships.
